Free Nursing Scholarships Singapore Ministry of Education has established a four-year scholarship scheme for new doctoral students at NTU or NUS who will conduct their research at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Centre (SMART Centre).

Scholarship Details:

We are recruiting PhD Free Nursing Scholarships students for projects in the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology (SMART), which will be supervised by MIT faculty and NTU. In the projects we apply mathematical techniques to problems in biotechnology and biochemistry, for example: o Bayesian modeling of the parasite's life cycle o large-scale graphical models for functional genomics o stochastic modeling and control techniques in the context of network generation.

The MRC Career Development Award Free Nursing Scholarships

Free Nursing Scholarships Applicants are expected to take advantage of the available funds a full five years. It includes an option of two years of research training outside the UK, in British industry, or in other British research center, to enable colleagues to gain transferable techniques and new skills. The scheme also provides a jointly funded postdoctoral award in partnership with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Eligibility Details:

Free Nursing Scholarships Applicants must have a PhD or DPhil and have at least three to six years' post-doctoral experience at the time of the application deadline, although applications with more than six years post-doctoral experience will also be considered in exceptional circumstances. The application of existing research fellow MRC and post-doctoral researchers returning from abroad are very welcome. As with all MRC Free Nursing Scholarships, this award is not available to the people who hold tenured academic positions at the time of application. If you hold a tenured position, you can ask for funding under one of the MRC's grant schemes.
